The Agri-Food Export Group Québec-Canada Announces the Winners of the 2012 Canadian Exporter of the Year and Canada Brand Image Awards
May 10, 2012. Montréal – The 6th Canadian Agri-Food Export Gala last night saw the Export Group hand out its 2012 Canadian Exporter of the Year and Canada Brand Image awards to two
worthy companies. Sponsored by Farm Credit Canada, the prestigious event attracted over 400 guests as part of the annual SIAL Canada exhibition.

The Canada Brand Image award goes each year to a Canadian agri-food company which successfully positions its products on the international market by proudly exhibiting our country’s brand and enhancing Canada’s reputation as a world-class provider of agri-food products and services.
The 2012 prize winner is LA FERME MARTINETTE – Division Gourmet Érable Inc. This family business was founded in 1993 and has exported its maple products to the USA, Europe, Asia and the Middle East since 1999. Its selection of products includes caramel, jelly, spread, candy, maple wine vinegar and more, all made on the farm in Coaticook.
